The Vice Chancellor, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Professor Kabir Bala has renewed the appointment of Professor Emmanuel Ikani as the Director of NAERLS. This was conveyed to him recently in a letter dated November 2022, renewing the appointment for the next 2 years. Professor Ikani was appointed in November 2020 as Director of the Institute for a two-year period. That appointment elapsed at the end of October 2022; hence, the recent re-appointment. The position of Director at the Institute runs on a 2-yearly cycle, only renewable for once, for a given individual. Just as the saying goes, “The reward for good work is more work”. The Institute rejoices, once again, with the Director; we all wish you a more successful administration for the next two years. Congratulations, sir!
