The Executive Director of NAERLS, Professor Emmanuel Ikani has been given an award of International Peace Advocate by the United Nations POLAC Foundation, in recognition of his extension work in Farmer-Herders conflict resolution in Nigeria. The event, which took place on 23 September 2023 at the Banquet Hall of Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja, was held to honour over 20 awardees in their various pursuits in peace and conflict resolution in the country. The event was also to celebrate the 2023 International Day of Peace. It was well attended and celebrated.
