NAERLS Conducts Opening of Technical Bids for 2025 Capital Projects

The Procurement Unit of the National Agricultural Extension and Research Liaison Services (NAERLS), Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, today conducted the opening of technical bids for the execution of the Institute’s 2025 capital projects.

The exercise, held under the leadership of the Head of Procurement, Malam Abdullahi Lawal, is in line with due process requirements as stipulated by the Nigerian Constitution. Malam Lawal emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability in project implementation during the event.

In his opening remarks, the Executive Director of NAERLS, Professor Y. A. Sani, welcomed all contractors and observers present at the event. He urged participants to cooperate fully with the NAERLS Project Implementation Committee to ensure the smooth and successful execution of the bidding process. Professor Sani concluded his remarks by wishing everyone a successful and transparent exercise, after which the bid opening formally commenced.

Observers at the event commended the process for its transparency. A representative from the Institute’s Accountability and Transparency Unit also praised the exercise, expressing optimism about the success of the 2025 project implementation.

In his closing remarks, Professor Sani thanked all participants for their cooperation and support, reiterating NAERLS’ commitment to fairness and excellence in the execution of its projects.
